I feel really stupid. So i will just say...nevermind.. i figured it out 😮

Why,why,why aren't they giving us some x-3 info-i'm getting sick of waiting.

It's gonna be so hard to involve the Phoenix force, sentinels, introducing new characters while maintaining the current lineup...
so far we have:
X-Men-
Cyclops
Wolverine
Storm
Nightcrawler
Iceman
Rogue
Jean Grey (however they decide to write her)
Sub-characters-
Colossus
Shadowcat
Jubilee
Siryn (if they decide to give them bigger roles and if those are the younger mutants they decide to go with)
Brotherhood-
Magneto
Mystique
Toad
Sabretooth
Pyro (gotta tell his story with a possible confrontation w/ Iceman)
-Lady Deathstrike (who apparently isn't dead yet)
Not to mention the demand for another mutant, Gambit, Beast, and/or Angel.

I don't think that the list is that long. Sabretooth and toad aren't seen in X2, and tho she is mentioned in the movie, "lets just say, I know a little girl who can walk thru walls" Kitty isn't seen either. We will see Cyclops for sure tho.

Lady Deathstrike... She may very well only appear in flashbacks... If you ask me, getting filled with metal makes you very, very dead. 😐

Very good point. If they do bring her back, then she would have to have the exact same mutant ability as Logan. His ability to heal is why he was chosen for the experiment in the 1st place. In X2 he expelled bullet in the skull... so maybe given a couple of years... who knows.

So, who do you think the plot should focus on?...and how could Phoenix fit reasonably into the big picture?

Maybe it should tie in with the Hellfire Club, show the lavish life mutants could lead if they ruled the world.
Magneto allies himself with Emma Frost along with Mystique and Pyro, and his children Quicksilver and Polaris (Scarlet Witch and the whole 'hex' thing might be a little much) and maybe Gambit too.
At the Xavier institute, a silhouette sweeps across the grounds landing at the feet of Rogue and Iceman, interrupting an attempted ice coated kiss.
They escort Warren Worthington III to Xavier's office where his first words are "We have a problem". (it's later revealed that Warren helps fund the school)
He explains the changes taking place in the Hellfire Club with Magneto being selected to serve as the White King.
The Hellfire Club's telepath, Emma, senses a tremendous power (Jean) and they intend to use that power to end humanity's reign over the planet.

The X-Men's plan is to infiltrate the induction ceremony. Along with Magneto, a number of young candidates are chosen to serve as apprentices (the Hellions) among them, Pyro, Mirage, Polaris, and Colossus (who Warren brings in as his 'discovery'[Iceman or Rogue couldn't since Magneto would recognize them])
Before Magneto gains his title, Miss Frost asks Pyro to dim the candles as she introduces the next step in mutant supremacy, Jean Grey.
Crackling with energy, she floats to the center of the room. She descends and takes measure of those in the room, looking directly in Warren's eyes, she says, "I know you"...showing signs of waining brain washing, but Magneto interrupts..."Let's get on with the ceremony, shall we?"

tell me what you think, lots of holes to fill, but plenty of room for new and old character developement...I know I didn't mention Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, or Nightcrawler...they'll be majorly involved somehow, this is a just rough idea.

there'd be some phoenix undertones, lets say at one point, jean starts to lose it, turning on magneto...in his defense, pyro pulls in the fire from the dimly lit candles in the room and engulfs jean. she, in turn, telekinetically uses the fire to create a phoenix aura around herself, before dispersing the flames across the room, setting it ablaze...and dumfounding even the most pwerful mutants present.

just f*ckin' with you on the dream team thread, but i really think it'd be a good tie in for the movie since they're gonna have to involve phoenix somehow.
i dunno how they could work in the sentinels or apocalypse or any other villain (maybe Sinister somehow) and turn all the gears they already have in place.
if they bring in the hellfire club, it introduces the white queen and includes magneto (i know he hasn't signed on yet, but as a consideration) and also opens opportunities to introduce new characters (angel,gambit,beast) while leaving time to elaborate on X-1 & X-2 character conflicts (iceman/pyro)(cyclops/wolverine) etc. (also leaves plenty of room for cameos)
