X-Men 3 - Possible Synopsis, Characters.

if i may put my 2 cents in here about halle berry...given the fact that catwoman absolutely sucked and the amount of crap that she has said about doing these x men movies i think its probably time to just bag on her and find someone that actually wants to be in the movies that whole interview to me sounded like she just wants to be the spotlight of the movie and in the x men universe it doesn't work that way..i honestly now wish they wold have gotten someone like Angela Basset or another well known..or even not so well known actress to play this role..Storm is such a big part of the x men that the fans hate seeing some idiot award winning actress act like she's too good for the franchise...eh just my opinion...

I'm really hoping that these deaths aren't real...they can't kill off main characters like that. Everyone's gonna hate it, no matter how you do it, if you kill off Cyclops and whatnot. That'd be like, in the next Spider-Man film, if they kill off Aunt May. Or if they kill Alfred off in the next Batman. If any characters die, it should be this Stacey X, Juggernaut, or some kind of villain. Even to an extent, Iceman, but he shouldn't die at all either. You just can't kill off one of the 4 main characters.

Cast Unlikely to Return: (6/1/03) The cast member from the first two movies most likely to not return for the third movie is Halle Berry (Ororo Munroe, AKA Storm), due to her rising profile as an A-list star, and the script difficulties of keeping Storm's role in each of these ensemble movies large enough to do her status justice. There are rumors that Fox may someday develop a 'Storm' movie for her to star in, however. (11/18/03) According to USA Today, Halle Berry is still considering returning for this third film. According to her costar Shawn Ashmore (via X-Men Hype!), besides budgetary concerns, the biggest requirement for Berry to return might be for her hours to be shortened, and her role lengthened. Although that sounds contrary, what he *means* is that she doesn't want to have to stay in Vancouver for six months during the entire shoot like most other cast members have to. (3/24/05) "Variety" reports that Halle Berry is indeed in talks to return, though reports about the script suggest Storm's role may be small. There have been recent rumors that James Marsden might not return as Cyclops, but it appears he probably will. (8/2/05) Alan Cumming will not be returning as Nightcrawler according to his official site.

StarTrek.com has posted a bit of Patrick Steward at a recent CON appearence. Below is an excerpt.

It was never a guarantee that Patrick Stewart ("Captain Picard"😉 would make this convention, because of a shifting start date on "X-Men 3," in which Stewart reprises the role of "Professor Xavier." In fact, the movie started production just the previous week in Vancouver, but he was still able to get away for a weekend in Vegas. "We have shot five days on 'X-Men 3,'" he announced to hearty applause.

"It's wonderful," he continued about the new movie during his Sunday appearance. "Already some amazing things have been put in the can, some surprises — [including] one surprise which will never even appear in a script form. We've just shot it. It's so secret, that there was never, ever allowed anything to be on paper about it."

As X-fans should know, the third film in the franchise has a different director than the previous two, and Stewart commented on that. "I think Brett Ratner is going to do a fantastic job on this movie. He's an extraordinary, gifted man, and I think the perfect choice to direct X3. We miss Bryan Singer, of course, because this is the man that launched this franchise so outstandingly." The film will continue production through December, during which Stewart will be working on it intermittently.

'A1ant' from XMenFilms.net tells us he has received possible new info on X-Men 3, involving returning cast, new filming locations, casting rumors debunked, and a spoiler scene. Here are several clips:

X2 starlets Shauna Kain (Siryn), Bryce Hodgson (Artie), Conner Widows (Jones) and Luke Pohl (X-Kid) have joined the cast all reprising their respective roles in the sequel. The young actors are currently shooting in Victoria, Canada at the Royal Roads University.

Bruce Davison's reps have told XMF that we shouldn't expect to see Senator Kelly back. Davison is currently shooting the highly anticipated mini-series The Triangle (Catherine Bell, Sam Neill) he then heads straight into a movie called The Real Catch.

Vinnie Jones has already been in Vancouver for a costume fitting but he won't return until September to start filming his role as Juggernaut.

That guy shouldn't be Gambit....haha....

They changed it so Drake is Rogue's love interest now, so they're not gonna just completely get rid of that and make Gambit the new guy. Gambit, sadly, isn't gonna play a big part. I wish he would've...but I just hope they get an awesome cameo, like, if he's in a jail cell, he could be playing cards with someone, and blow them up haha.

I hope Gambit will come. They are adding all these new characters into the plot and not Gambit. If the producers and Ratner know how important Gambit is maybe HE is the suprise? 😛

You arent the only one...

He's a combination of Cyclops and Wolverine. He's just cool. I don't think he should be the focus point of the series, as Wolverine, Cyclops and Jean should be, but I think he deserves a good cameo scene.
