You're thinking of when Jean became the Dark Phoenix Solo, and I mean there's a lot of characters who have gone bad. I mean Colosus actually joined Mags for a bit.
And I've never understood the who Gambit going to Mags side theory, but that's only because in the comic Gambit wouldn't do such a thing. He never really cared about the whole mutant/human battle, until he met Storm. That's why I can't see him joining Magneto
I'm not sure if these are true...but they're the only information we really have.
1)Most likly, since their are going to be more X-Men movies, that this time around it will be The Blob.
2)Every name that Mystique scrolled over has a roll in X3. Gambit will be a major character. That ws hinted by Mystique when she slowed down while scrolling over his name.
3)The X-Kids will have a bigger roll. A lot bigger than the past two movies.
Then again...you never know what's true with all these losers out their who make up stuff about the movies, only to make it seem to happen the way they want it to...
✅ i can't really see the Blob working out too well, and, i don't think i would wanna see him on the big screen 😘
Archangel and the sentinals will appear in the future. The sentinal designs on the DVD we pretty cool IMO but i wasn't to keen on the archangel ones, i preferred the normal, angel ones with the feathered wings ✅
From what i've read @ a couple of different websites (will try and find them to send the links), Gambit probably wont be appearing in an Xmen film. The reason for this is b/c the producers or whoever feel that he is too alike to two of the main characters - Logan and Scott. (his powers are like Cyclop's and his characteristic is too much like Logan's). I hope that these sources are wrong b/c i would love to see Gambit in a film as he is, to me, one of my favorite Xmen.
...Would love to see Angel though....
Oh, and if any of you guys are like me, i'd love to see Psylocke in a film - HOT AS HELL....

Omega Red - Arkady Russovich, Russian super-soldier created by the Soviet Government in response to the Weapon Plus programme. His abilities included vibranium tendrils through which he could drain the energy of an opponent, as well as a 'death factor' that killed anyone near him after a long enough exposure. It also affected him, which meant that he needed to drain energy to survive. He was placed in suspended animation after the Soviet scientists discovered that he was too dangerous as an operative.
Project Wideawake - An anti-mutant campaign run by Cameron Hodge. The original X-Factor were used by the government to hunt down mutants (in reality, X-Factor trained the mutants to control their powers). Read the Fall of the Mutants trade paperback for more information.
Franklin Richards - the son of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) and Susan Richards (nee Storm, the Invisible Girl / Woman). He showed great psionic potential and an ability to shape reality. He and Nate Grey were captured by Onslaught (the insane union of Magneto and Prof. X's minds) and, when the Avengers were killed in the attempt to save them, Franklin unwittingly created a parallel universe in which they could live, having saved them from Onslaught's telepathic fury. He went to live with Generation X in Massachusetts. Since the Heroes' Return, he has lived with his parents in NYC.
Muir Island - the island research laboratory of Moira MacTaggart off the Northern coast of Scotland, where she lived with her son Kevin, the near-omnipotent mutant known as Proteus. Since the death of Proteus, Muir was used as a facility for study into the Legacy Virus, and a base of operations for Excalibur.
Vin Disel as Bishop? 😑 I don't think they'd have Bishop in the moives yet, I mean he came back in time because he thought that Gambit was the traitor to the X-Men. So I'm pretty sure Gambit would be a main character before they have Bishop there
And I agree with eleveninches, no way are they doing to introduce that many characters
