Obi-wan Kenobi vs Darth Krayt

Both at there peak

Krayt with mid difficulty I suppose.

Krayt edges it out over Obi-Wan.

Krayt kicks Kenobi's ass.

Krayt without a doubt.

Kenobi was significantly worried about Hett, and Hett was able to land hits on him. Krayt is >> Hett.

Krayt is >> Hett.

So is Kenobi.

A'shared Hett IS darth krayt

Krayt has the Force skill, but I would give Kenobi the edge in sabers. It's not like he hasn't faced dual wielders before, and did defeat Hett, when he led the Tuskan Raiders. Yes Krayt defeated Cade and Imperial Knights, but how good were they, really? In an all out battle, I can see Krayt winning through superior Force abilities.

Not according to Kenobi. He felt he had to be entirely serious or he could easily lose, and Hett got two solid hits on him during the fight.

Kenobi's better than Hett but not by a lot.

Yes, but talking about Hett the Jedi vs Krayt the Sith, his power has increased massively, his swordwork improved, force knowledge improved, speed improved..

Basically, if you beat Hett in a close fight, you shouldn't take on Krayt.

Also, was Obi-Wan in his prime during that fight? Just curious.

It was a year or two after RotS. I believe it would be physically impossible for him to have declined much in that time from his peak of physical fitness in the movie.

Of course, I'm no fitness nut so that's just a supposition.

He says at their peak which would be ROTS.

I'd be hesitant to give him the edge in sabers, while fighting a young Vader is most impressive he had numerous advantages in the fight. Also him constantly just stalemating his opponents, winning due to plot armor, and getting ragdolled by every darkside he's ever fought and or penetrated by their force abilities kind of works against him

Krayt should take sabers for a very slim majority.

Post ROTS Kenobi = prime Kenobi by this I mean 18-17 BBY kenobi

I thought the same thing, but Obi-Wan strongly implies that he's out of his element after declining for two years in "The Life and Legend of Obi-Wan Kenobi."

Yeah, that's why I was asking. If he had declined enough for find it noticeable and still defeated Hett, then wouldn't ROTS Kenobi stand a better chance in this fight?

The impression I got is 'this guy is good enough that even being a little rusty against him is a bad thing.'

Though I also get the impression that being hit a time or two 'shook the rust off' so to speak.
