I think I have played both Fallout 3 and New Vegas WAAAAYYYY too many times. But I constantly mod the games to add some more flavour to them. I sadly have not managed to get the one that links F3 and NW together to run without crashing after a while. 🙁
You used to be able to kill people sneakily in Fallout 2. Use 8 super stim packs on them (think it was 8, been ages since I played that one) and they OD'd. So you get no bad rep or people attacking you. I got to a point in both games where I decided to go into full a$$hole mode and just killed everyone, after I modded it to push the level cap to 100.

Trying to remember, as I added so many damn weapons and mods that I lost track of all of it. Both my New Vegas and Fallout 3 game folders nearly tripled in size from all the content I added. I remember you could get this OP alien pistol in F2, after going through this one portal you got in a random encounter. But I could never figure out how the hell to get back through the portal again once I got it. Fallout Tactics still had the best random encounters though. One involved a mutant cow wielding an uzi, if I recall correctly. I have to get to bed though. 11pm on my side of the world, and I have to be up by 5am again. 🙁
