Also, Plastic Man has some resistance to fire as was seen in the Fernus fight, IIRC.

Found this regarding the incident, hyping Plas...
Unlike other stretchy heroes (eg.elongated man or MR.Fantastic) plastic mans pliability is not subject to the same restrictions of shapeshifting as others becoz he has no respiretory systems, circulatory systems or organs and so he does not bleed or seem to feel pain at all. Even though at times he over dramatises his injuries, the mere fact that he can shift into complex machines with working parts (eg a car, a room with furniture, animals...etc) shows he can easily take a hit. Because he has no brain he is not subject to psychic attacks and he is also immune to high speeds, punctures, corrosives and laser blasts. He can however be stunned in the way of a suprise attack that can catch him off guard however his abilities prevent any real harm to him. The bast example i can give is in the "JLA: Obsidian Age" Arc in which he went back in time got turned to stone smashed into little pieces and spent the next 3000 years as little more than crumbs at the bottom of the sea. Although incapacitated once the JLA found enough pieces of him he was able to start his regeneration process. Despite the fact that he complained about a three thousand year old itch he couldnt scratch and a song he couldnt get out of his particle sized crumb for a head it was clear to everyone behind his goofy smile and goggles was one of the most powerful beings in the JLA.
