The only reason he's lying on the floor is that he committed suicide by taking a combined blast from Vision, Iron Man, Thor, and Starhawk while his guard was down. He could have easily disposed of them too if he wanted.

Earlier in the book, Korvac said that after killing all of the Avengers and GotG, he would have to face Odin, Zeus, Mephisto, and their armies. He didn't sound like he was thinking he was going to lose that battle either.

He is easily beyond this team.
