This is a energy blast. The part that hit superman was enough to knock him out, the part that would have killed him missed him because he was teleported away. Its just like me getting barely hit by a flamethrower and getting burned a little, but someone pulls me out the way before i get hit with whats coming from that thing. You can put fire to a piece of plastic and quickly pull it away and all it will have is a little damage. ( koed) Now put fire to it and let it stay there and its destroyed (killed) Its all in the timing.

That does not change the fact that you got hit by fire einstein.

You got hit by fire but pulled away before it caused permanent damaged to your body.

In DD case he wasn't pulled out of entrophy before it caused permanent damaged so he got killed.

In the case of Superma he got hit but it was teleported away.

Anyway Doomsday bones TANKED nullification. That just gives the idea of how beastly HP Doomsday is.

People understimate doomsday, he wins this match.

Never looked at it this way, Damn!!

And if they were left after a full blast, it is more than likely that Superman could take it for a very short moment without getting killed, just koed, as seen in the scans.

Not my fault you fail to read what Darkseid clearly said.

If Superman had been hit with Entropy, that would have made in at least an abstrack being. I've yet to read a DC title were a mere Herald took on and survived Entropy by his sheer power.

Both Mon-El and Rond Vidar survived entropy attacks from Time Trapper in LOSH v3 50.

And I have to laugh at this "just a breath" explanation. Superman was hit with entropy, its just that he was teleported away before it could kill him. From the writer himself.

RC: Was Superman KO’d by a blast from Imperiex Prime in ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN 594?

JOE CASEY: Sure. Superman was, as they say, knocked for a loop.

The idea with that scene—if I'm remembering correctly—is that Superman *would've* been incinerated just like Doomsday was… had he not been plucked away at the last nanosecond by a Boom Tube. Since he *was* plucked away, he was damaged but obviously not killed. Some superheroes have all the luck, eh...?

And yes, Galan is being a huge dick. No surprise there whatsoever though.

And here are Mon-el and Rond Vidar tanking Entropy.

All superman fans, but this is expected. 🙄 Anyway, if you superman fans have ever torn yourselves away from superman's hugs, you would understand, but sticking together in groups of 5 and 6 and agreeing with one another even though you are wrong, makes you look silly. Any person with common sense would know that you can be hit with flames for a VERY and i mean VERY short time and be pulled away before you get fried and only have very little burns. I could teleport you to the center of Antarctica butt naked and wet and teleport you back before you freeze to death, do you think you tanked the cold of that place? No you did not, i brought you back before the effects were upon you. Same with superman, darkseid saved his ass WAY before that blast had the chance to kill him. 😮‍💨

Except of this, we see he was hit by the Blast just not long enough, he was directly in front of imperiex hand, there could never be a schockwave so close.

Yes there could, a shockwave can actually accelerate you far enough from a blast that you never get burns or shrapnel.

That's your counter argument? Writer interviews and ABC logic? You'd have to step up lol.

But we see that Superman didn't moved and his cape is still in front of Imperiex after he was blasted and teleported away. So he took it to some extent.

And then the event was expanded on, i don't get how you can argue against it.

You're like arguing with yourself there champ, your analogies aren't helping at all.

Now you just have to take it.

Yeah, the amount of bending in this thread done by JBL and Galan (😂 ) would put bran to shame. Of course JBL knows more than the writer who wrote the scene.

The writer saying exactly what happened in the scene isn't a proof? We saw the blast hitting Superman and then he was teleported away at the last possible *nanosecond* according to the writer. You know more than the writer too?

No shockwaves there.

I do, actually.

I know writer interviews aren't admissible as proof. Which is why I remarked on the fact you're using it......as proof.

The fact is in the artwork, Superman in the middle of the blast. Point, not long enough to die

They aren't used as proof to confirm a feat which contradicts on panel scene. Here he is basically confirming what actually happened in the scene, the blast hit Superman but he was teleported away at the last possible moment which saved him. The laughable attempt to deny *the blast actually hitting superman* as "NOOOOOO, the breath or maybe it was shockwaves or maybe Imperiex farted* is what's being discussed here.

And that's where both JBL and Galan and whoever supported them are wrong.

Yeah, how can anybody think that scene means Superman was not being hit by the blast? It reeks of butthurt plainly.

Galan ended this argument along time ago, Super butthurt fans
