I honestly think this is a good match up. Ahsoka is vastly underrated. She beat Pre visla in sabers, the same Visla who was able to give Maul a decent fight, and that is a more skilled Maul than what Jinn faced. Force powers shouldn't play much of a role because neither are very strong force wielders.
I'd say Jinn takes this one.
I disagree with Bantha's assessment. Either Vizsla was simply underperforming against Ahsoka, was disadvantaged by the environment, simply just got better between seasons, or some combination of these, but his performance against Maul was noticeably better than his performance against Ahsoka even when analyzing Vizsla himself. The assumption that Ahsoka>Vizsla in sabers comes from the fact that she cut his jetpack and made it blow up. But consider that since the jetpack wasn't being used in that fight, Vizsla was essentially dueling her with a bomb protruding from his back. There duel also ended inconclusively with Ahsoka running after the jetpack exploded. An argument could've been made that Vizsla would've died if she had kept her mouth shut, but the alarms on his jetpack and Ahsoka getting out of the way of the explosion would've alerted him as well. What is a more likely conclusive outcome would be when Vizsla kicked Ahsoka to the ground, opening her up to a killing blow, but for some reason Vizsla just kinda stood there for several seconds because PIS.
In any case, Qui-gon did significantly better in a pure saber duel against Maul than Vizsla did, and while Maul's improvement can be argued, I seriously doubt it would've been by a large enough margin to negate the disparity of their respective performances.
I'd give this one to Qui-gon.
Just to be clear... I consider Pre Vizsla and Grievous two of the mightiest non-force sensitive warriors the Galaxy has ever seen, and Ahsoka's performance and survival against them, even if I don't believe she was a greater duelist than either or even equal to them, is still pretty damn impressive in my book.
IMO both Qui-gon and Ahsoka are pretty underrated, and at some point I may make Interesting Fighting Styles posts for them.
