I actually just re-watched that White House scene. My memory had exaggerated his speed a bit. Based off the latest Amazing Spiderman film, I actually think Peter can beat him. His speed, awareness of his surroundings, and ability to adjust and react to what was going on around him was insane in this film. And I am basing this off of his actual fights, not that stupid getting run over bit, while on the phone, that was obviously only added for lols.

How does he get past Maul? Maul will know where and when NC will port in and out. If NC ports behind him, Maul will know exactly where to point his saber a full second in advance. NC gets impaled.

So now maul can react to instantaneous movement?

Teleportation has nothing to do with movement and Nightcrawler isn't fast enough to blitz in CQC so, yeah

Teleports lightsaber inside maul.

Precog means he'll be one step ahead and could just put his lightsaber where Nightcrawler teleports

He hasn't showed speed that proves he can move faster than NC can teleport.

He doesn't need it. The speed he displayed is more than enough to get the job done.

Darth Maul instantanous perception would be a definite problem, spiderman would be the toughest advercary for NC. magneto would be a easy opponent unless he has the metal junk fly around him in a spiral fast and dense enough to prevent NC to teleport Successfully

Maul's precog would be more than a problem, it would be crippling.

Maul totally precogged that Obi would force-jump out of the hole, flip over Maul's back, grab a sabre and attack. It's why Obi lost in Ep1 🙂
