Other than sever Force, Nomi hasn't really demonstrated anything that suggests she'd be above Malak's caliber as a warrior. Except for those godawful quotes that, strangely, still have no confirmation.
Not having been in combat with another Force User before, though, it's really hard to determine how able she is in combat--I'd assume she's Malak's superior considering her status, but who knows?
