Mrs.MM and I won about £20, but we placed bets costing £20 too. To come away all square was still pretty good going. I was having "win" and "place" bets mostly, but I did have a couple of "trio" bets at the end, those suckers can really pay out.

I did put some money on one dog who I felt a certain bond with, he was called "Crack off Dave" but my mates decided it was funnier to call him "Crack one off, Dave" after me, they told me. 🙄

Anyway the mutt came in last and I lost my money, thank god Mrs.MM was there cus she won most of our money as usual. 😄

Oh well, I shall have to rely on the tried and trusted method of asking Ush for a number between 1 and 6 just before each race.

I'm not sure if the dogs from B'ham track will be the same at your local track.

I'm going to Brighton, am working in Surrey at the moment, so if you look at the map it's a downhill trek for them, shouldn't be too difficult.
