Actually, unless you're talking relative strength showings, what has dumb Drax done that's better than the star core ripping classic Drax did?
Plus, it was continuously shown that dumb Drax wasn't able to properly tap the Power Gem, so your argument is invalid as you don't know how well classic Drax would use it.

Classic Drax has the greater strength feats.
Classic Drax can pull more juice from the gem than Dumb Drax (who didn't pull any juice).
Assuming Dumb Drax is stronger then you are still wrong because Classic Drax with gem is stronger.
In other words,
Classic Drax with Gem>>>>>>>>>>>>Dumb Drax>>Classic Drax
