Stalemate, likely. Xavier has better, more consistent tp feats, but it's unlikely he could affect Thanos.

Thanos would beat Xavier in a neutral setting for a massive majority unless Xavier is written like in AvX and Thanos is handicapped. Thanos 8 or 9 /10

Thanos beat Moondragon in a mindbattle and mindraped Galactus. Same Moondragon controlled an entire planet and penetrated Galactus's mind as well.

Prof X couldn't even send a small thought to Galactus without backlash that almost killed him.

Thanos wins no contest. Xavier is considered a telepath of the highest order as far as earth goes, but the game changes as soon as you start bringing all the universe has to offer onto the table.

I don't even consider Xavier to be the best telepath on Earth.
