I hope it'll be a refreshing change of pace from ordinary comic book movies.

I hope so too. 👆

I like that this film is rated R, it's a rare thing these days and we need more movies that are geared towards a mature audience

It'll hurt the profits, kid.

I'll laugh if it makes more money as well.

despite not opening in China, I believe that Deadpool will still tap out around $300 to $350 WW which FOX should be happy about

The fact that Fox gave this movie an R rating, and allowed Fan4stic to happen, give the impression that money isn't really a concern for Fox

😂

Not that I like agreeing with quan, but yeah, it is kind of funny to think that a movie studio doesn't care about profits. They definitely care about profits. But a $50 million budget for an R-rated character as popular as Deadpool is probably a safe bet. I think it stand a great chance. Looks like it'll have enough wit and humor to get great word-of-mouth also.

If dead pool looks eeh not really interested in watching it

Yea, Fox is in a great spot to make a lot of money with this movie.

They'll probably make that 50mil back domestically.

My comment was in regards to spending money rather than making it back. They were confident enough to push out a FF movie, with everything against it, and gave Deadpool an R rating when they could've easily played it safe with a PG-13 flick.
