the spikes make you stronger once they take over, sure.
but hulk was fighting off the infection when this bombing occurred. I may be wrong but that's the way I remember it

You're funny when it comes to anything Hulk. It's in the film, ergo it is valid. I might as well argue that Superman killing Doomsday with the orbital slam just "doesn't count."

Okay Hulk isn't as strong as Carv initially said, though no one's given anything about this Doomsday. The final fight gave nothing.
