If Ronan so much as touches Clark with the hammer, he'll die. And as long as he has it, I don't know how much damage Superman can do if any.
After all, he was unscathed from Rocket's BFG which was gonna blow up Yondu's entire ship and seemed to make a miniature hydrogen bomb explosion. He was also completely unhurt from the Dark Aster's crash, and was strong enough to even wield the stone in the first place.
It was the gun they threatened Yondu's ship with and used on Ronan the first time. Rocket just had to Jury rig it to get it working again.
And as Ronan uses the hammer as a medium to channel the stones powers through, blowing up the hammer is taking away the stone. Mainly because we never see him really use it without the hammer.
I meant we never saw him use the Power Stone without a medium to channel it through. We don't even know how long he can actually hold it without dying.
And yes, the Celestial did destroy a planet with it by touching it's staff powered by the Power Gem to the surface, which Ronan would have done to Xandar. But it's pointed out that any organic contact will do. If he so much as taps Clark with the hammer, or if Clark even touches it on his own, he's gonna blow up.

It seemed like a different gun and the explosion was much smaller.
It's bad enough that a "can't take away the stone" stipulation was had; now adding "Ronan's hammer is indestructible" when it clearly wasn't is very telling that Superman shit-stomps all over the guy who made Thanos his *****.
Also, if I guy like Ronan can hold the gem for several moments with no ill effects, a powerhouse like Superman can hold it longer; arguably indefinitely.

Could have been. But the rigging seemed the same. The chest piece and everything.
And the stipulation is there because otherwise Ronan wouldn't stand a chance. Also we'd be speculating just what he could accomplish with the stone by itself because we never saw him do anything with it. He's strong yeah, but clearly not Kryptonian strong. That'd be like putting Clark in a fight and allowing his opponent to activate a Kryptonian atmosphere so Clark would lose his powers.
As for b*tching Thanos, I don't really consider trash talk, a death threat and cutting the call off making him his b*tch. Thanos was pissed to be sure, but it was more like Luca Brasi talking shit to Don Corleone. It's inconceivable to think of so it pissed him off. If they fought, we know even with the power stone Thanos would have won.
And having it in your possession is different from having it used on you. Ronan held it fine, but when the Guardians turned it's power against him, he died pretty quick.
If it's anything like the comics, then yes we do. We also have to take into account the fact that Thanos more than likely possesses at least one stone of his own on top of the ridiculous powers/power level he's going to have as the biggest big bad the marvel guys will face.
Orb/Purple Stone = Power Gem
Tesseract = Space Gem
Aether = Reality Gem
That leaves Mind, Time, and Soul.
