Darth Traya vs. Darth Thanaton

*Traya's gigadrain is disabled

Who wins?

All out

I'm not entirely sure, because I can't remember if Traya have hype in encyclopedic medium.

She have "vast telekinetic powers," though.

But Thanaton have been defeated by Darth Nox. This means that nobody who is not Nox's equal or greater can defeat Thanaton, regardless of whatever power difference is shown between Nox and Thanaton.

Furthermore, Thanaton have power that no mortal can withstand.

You need to understand the ground realities of SWTOR characters.

Traya does that Krayt insta-kill poodoo and wins.

/thread.

Her drain is disabled.

It isn't drain, it's called Dark Transfer.

Traya doesn't know Dark Transfer, so...

You're right. I concede. Thanaton wins comfortably.

I think this would be pretty dang close actually.

Yes she does, she very clearly does, she revives Tobin and Hanharr and is stated to know the technique in the KotOR CG as well.

In all seriousness, though, I think Darth Traya is the stronger.

Darth Thanaton

Darth Traya.

No it doesn't. It says she knows Dark Healing, which is the Dark Side equivalent of healing, oddly enough. She obviously just healed them, because they weren't dead to begin with. Dark Transfer and Dark Healing are not the same power. And if you mean the part where it says vital transfer, you should know that this too is not Dark Transfer. It's a game mechanic for the RP Traya would be in. Even then, it's not related to Dark Transfer at all.

Dark Transfer talent cannot revive dead either.

Yes it can. It is infact used to do this several times in Legacy. It's also the reason Krayt was brought back to life, and why Krayt had to be flown into the sun. In fact, Kraty used it to kill and revive Cola few times. It has to be a recent death, but it can still bring things back to life.

Dark Transfer is a healing ability, not a sorcery-oriented talent.

Cade uses his extraordinary healing power that taps into the dark side of the Force to save his dying master, Wolf Sazen. (Legacy Era Campaign Guide)

Darth Krayt brought back to life? He did not die mortally at any point in his life until his final confrontation with Cade Skywalker but he had possibly learned secrets of immortality by this time and was feared to make a comeback. This is why Cade Skywalker flew his remains into the Sun.

What does this have to do with anything?

That's great. Don't believe I used this as evidence.

Nope, Krayt was dead and used Dark Transfer to come back to life. Either way, even when Cade kills, they had to destroy his body because he could still use Dark Transfer to heal himself. Cade actually died during their duel and was brought back to life using Dark Transfer.

Uh, yeah he did. He got like, mega-killed.

I think Dark Transfer could fall under the category of sorcery, especially Krayt's refined version of it.
