Pretty cool Black Panther fan-made movie. Sound's a bit unclear, but they added subtitles for the dialogue. The action only starts about halfway through, but it's worth it. Definitely not for kids!

Imagine it like a 1 litre flask of water. Sure, it'll stop me dying from thirst...but pop me in the middle of the Sahara and it has limits.
I just saw the suit as preventing him from drying out under normal conditions (flying about, punching supervillains, hitting on Sue). When you deploy mini-suns.....some defence, but not enough to counter it.

I couldnt find any actual stats on the suit, so here's a theory to counter that theory.
The suit keeps Namor at a certain hydration level AS he gets dehydrated, reagardless.
It uses a system similar to how Iceman pulls moisture from the air to make ice.
The greater the dehydration the greater the moisture pull to keep him level.
If it doesnt and Namor's as weak as some say under these attacks, then he should have been dead.
Just pointing out that both sides are just speculating on the suit.
Both can reference these attacks and see them how they want.
The thread coming down to dehydration is eerily similar to An obviously more powerful Superman and a much weaker, but prepped Luthor using kryptonite.

After waterdipping, he took her apart - I guess my viewpoint is that T'Challa won't underestimate him like Shuri did, PLUS he has the knowledge of his grandaddy, who also took Namor down several times.
And knowing BP has this tech, Namor wont just ignore it is my point.

He's written to act like the BP fans here are saying he will.
I know i dont bring scans to this, but i hope i dont bring too much bias either.
I can accept a well written loss to BP,but some of the points that have been made here require Namor yo be a blithering idiot.

He had the tech with him it seems in their latest encounter - and Namor didn't do anything. Considering how much he has been egging BP lately, he seems surprised (or he just didn't care maybe) that BP could/would attack him. Which would be his downfall, IMO. I guess the written story (which essentially is what this thread boils down to) would have a BP win IMO because Namor would be his usual arrogant self, and BP would bring the tech.
But we will see what we will see, I guess. Anything can happen in comics. Including a frustrating (from the point of battleboards) draw.
