My thoughts.
Invincible is a ner even match for his father Omni Man. Omni Man has shown superiority to Supreme, and Supreme has shown to be equals to Gladiator in all canon Image Comics to themselves.
That said it is ABC logic, but enough proof to me that Mark is in the same league as say Gladiator as far stats go.
Anyway I give this fight to Mark for the fact he not only has speed blitzed foes often but shown to be much more violent than Nova has in fighting as well. Add in the fact mark will keep fighting with his guts being ripped out shows will power to keep going till the end.
Good fight though.

From what I read I read, a former Black Nova called Adomox told Sam that

the Black Novas were never really part of the Nova Corps.
The group had formed on its own due to their belief that the Nova Corps wasn't powerful enough. He further explains that members of the Nova Corps were allowed more access to the Nova Force as they moved up in the ranks. Adomox felt the problem was that only a few had access to any real power in that organizational structure. The Black Novas created the Black Nova helmets to allow them to access the Nova Force without restrictions.
I've read the black Novas being called "Supernovas" on various comic sites. I wouldn't be surprised if Saal had something to do with this since his helmet was black the last time we saw him during War of kings.

Read it, and find out for yourself. Sam is awesome. You have to also take consideration for his ineptitude when he first got the power. Sam getting swatted around at first was more due to mindset, than his actual power level. The kid is a power house.
