TPM Duo vs Count Dooku

TPM Qui Gon and Obi Wan vs Count Dooku. Setting is the flagship where Kenobi and Anakin fight Dooku.

Dooku very solidly.

I was reading various old threads from here and other forums saying TPM Kenobi >AotC Anakin and Qui Gon > RotS Kenobi. Was curious to see how it would end up. I guess with the AotC series, that probably isn't the same though.

TPM Qui-Gon is not greater than RotS Kenobi, I doubt any Qui-Gon is, and TPM Kenobi is not greater than AotC Anakin. 😬

Who thinks that? Qui Gon was a highly skilled duelist with endurance issues. RotS Obi-wan is an even more skilled duelist with tons of endurance.

And AotC Anakin pretty much is TPM Kenobi except with more talent and raw power. They're both on the verge of being knights, but Anakin's the stronger.

Heck, RotS Kenobi's a very good fight against a stronger version of the sith who killed Qui-gon!

Long story short, Dooku > TPM Maul > TPM Duo.

I think duo's only chance is Qui-Gon's physical attacks in mid-duel, Qui-Gon was able to stagger even Darth Maul with a backhand

Still, Dooku can beat Obi-Wan via force attacks, I am not sure that Dooku can defeat Qui-Gon via force attacks though but still Dooku has advantage over force and lightsaber to lightsaber duel (makashi)

I'd put it like this Dooku > TCW Maul =/~ ROTS Kenobi >/= TPM Maul >/= TPM Duo.

Which put together translates into Dooku > > > TPM Duo.

Yeah like I said, this was a bit of a brain cramp. In my defense, I haven't read TPM novel and I always thought Maul might have ended up losing in the long run if he didn't separate Qui Gon from Kenobi.

The fight looked pretty even to me. Although the novel suggests it was Maul who was in control.
