For the record, I'm really not sure how you can seriously make the claim that Psmith is a superior debater to Sidious, Ant. In my nearly 2 years here I've never seen him post anything on these vs boards other than spiteful remarks or petty insults (Usually directed at 66), a far cry from actual debating.

That said, what did Sidious do to get all of this heat? I can't find what you're all referring to on my phone here.

I do. That's why I exclusively said the vs board. You know, where we have SW debates.

My issue with the Sith Emperor and the Sith Empire as a whole is that it is all so much less than it could have been.

The 'True Sith' you heard about in KotOR 2 and the sourcebooks sounded feckin' terrifying. Instead we got 'homage' to the Galactic Empire in the saga so the masses could 'relate' with something.

Chris Avellone said that the True Sith were supposed to be the original Sith Empire but gone way, way out of control. Creating wounds in the force and dark side nexi all over forgotten space. They were supposed to be the new enemy for both the Sith and the Jedi, which you would have fought in their idea for KotOR 3.

Instead we get Galactic Empire 2.0 and yet another Darth Galacticus villain. Nihilus was cool, really damn cool, he was powerful but paid the biggest price for it. That is called a flawed character, something the BiOWare Austin team apparently lack any knowledge.

Even compared to Nihilus, this Vitiate is just boring, boring, boring! I lost any and all interest in SWTOR's 'main' storyline as soon as I finished the Revan novel.

Two game characters now 'canonized' do the job to put Vitiate over so they can have a good villain for the Jedi Knight class, it's all so, so wasted.

So yeah I could care less what Karpyshyn thinks, he wrote that pile of manure novel and BiOWare as a whole ruined what could have been a genuinely interesting Sith faction.

I completely okay with Star Wars and the Sith in particular not becoming a toilet for all of the shit KotOR II spewed out of itself. Avellone really didn't know when to stop with some of the concepts the Obsidian team came up with, and threw a wrench into a lot of established lore.
