There's charming ignorance [carver], and then there's the one that has no charm at all. The only reasons people are still engaging you is because it just bugs people when somebody says 1+1 = 5.

You have only two things going for you:
a). There's many of you.
b). As long as it's not carver, even the most Marvel biased statements are generally still ignored because that's the way the board is. Thor fans [say, Rage earlier] won't call you out because it serves better for Thanos not to have a moderately low showing, so there's only the 'hated' Superman fans to do so.

Any other circumstances, and you'd be the the court jesters.

I don't pretend to be objective - I'm a Superman fan, and there's no denying that I'll always give him the victory when I can argue it. But the difference is I'm not an idiot who is incapable of coherent arguments, and doesn't know how to have fun in a debate with others, and they with me.

I mean, it must be fun in your world thinking that your trolling is successful, but in the bigger picture, you'll be remembered as an annoying joke.

I am glad you admit you are biased and a fanboy. Saved me a lot of trouble. I make very compelling arguments based off evidence without ignoring the typical portrayal of the character.

You always take this so seriously with your threats or pathetic rants. In the end you aren't even on the list of the top five Superman fans just someone who shows up to annoy once every couple of months.

There are some characters I had nothing against until I met their rabid fans. Delusional and insane fans of certain characters have actually hurt the way people on this board (and other places) view said characters.

Some characters that come to mind that have the most psychotic fans that have ruined the character for me are (imo):

- Superman - jesus , this camp is probably the worst of them all. They have been spoiled decades of writers that give superman (or a version of him) the win over anyone. no matter the power range. They always find a way to make him win via plot device, pis, villain cis, etc. Also some ridiculous cartoonisish feats that give his fans hard-ons. Superman is suppose to be a high herald and they still give him some pretty stupid feats. ruining the character imo. thats why there have been so many reboots. Even after the reboots writers come in and fuq him up again making him way to ridiculous. And the fans even further blow these feats out of proportion . it becomes a clusterfuq of nonsense.
(add-on) Darkseid - for some reason every crazy supes fan is also a crazy darksied fan. Spewing stuff like hes Galactus level and above and his true form blah blah blah. even though those days are long gone that he was even at that level.

- Hulk - not too many here now- a days but the ones around are pretty crazy as well. I know Hulk is a strong brick. maybe the strongest but being a strong brick with limited powers doesn't mean he is high trans or even skyfather level like some claim.

- wolverine - dont feel like explaining.

- batman - doesnt bother too much but, "he always finds a way" is pretty funny.

- Flash - I can go on and on about flash but all i have to say is that some people were giving him wins over galactus and even The Living Tribunal because those characters had no speed feats. I really dont have to explain why thats batshit insane do i?

there are a few others but those are the top ones that people ruined for me.

Now, it seems you have tried to label me a thanos fan because I think he wins vs a some characters. He should win against certain types...because he has always beat down heralds of all power ranges. I think your blind hate for the character is making you try to villianize posters on this board because you cant directly attack Thanos himself, so you try to take it out on anyone that gives him the win over your comic book boyfriend.

No offense but I find your "logic" faulty. First, writers determine the powerlevel of the characters not us, so our tier list is not canon, simple as that. Superman gets those feats you mentioned which would make him in those tier list, an trans, sometimes more, like with the CA. There is nothing wrong with this. The fault is in the mind of those people who think Superman has to be herald level because Thor and Surfer are there. Just because some fans wish it doesn't mean that it has to be so in comics, Superman, like most other chars, grows and for him it means he becomes more powerful, simple. Maybe it is time to accept that he can hang there with Darkseid and Thanos, because most likely he is in their tier by now not in Surfers or Thor.
But well, most Superman fans are nice and don't rub it in the face of Marvel fans, and give him the "yeah Supes is HH and would stalemate Thor and SS".

well it was a basic description. I typed way more than i intended too. didn't want to get into specifics. Just like supes fans dont like their character getting lowballed and look only at the super high end feats, same goes for whom ever is against Superman. Supes fans love to ignore super high end feats of other characters but theirs. anyhow dont want to get into that.

Ok, fair enough. As far as I know, every fanbase does the same but maybe it seems so negative to you because Superman has indeed the biggest fanbase here as far as i know.

You are correct that our rankings aren't canon which I why I don't subscribe to any myself. Here is where things blow up in your face. Superman like it or not is a peer to Wonderwoman. Superman like it or not is a peer to Captain Marvel, Orion, Martian Manhunter, etc. Despite these characters highest showings that doesn't pole vault them beyond the characters who are their peers.

Superman is a matchup for Darkseid in the prereboot because he has beaten him and stalemated him multiple times. In the Nu though Seid showed himself to be above him.

Thanos is on another level and consistently shown to be above him as his consistent portrayal is on another level than Superman's. Talking about faulty reasoning, you put a lot of effort to show here what faulty reasoning is, tbh.
Thanos is above Surfer but featwise Thanos is below Superman, who takes on people like Darkseid and wins from time to time.
Needless to say, would Thanos be a char in the DC Universe, you can bet he would go down to Superman sometimes. That is how it is in comics, you don't need to be a genius to see it, just follow the history of Superman.
