Strongest Female Jedi Tournament: Round 1 Battle 16. Exal Kressh Vs Lomi Plo

Hello, welcome to the SFJ tourny, in our last fight, Githany won the battle against Kerra(much to my dismay) and has advanced to the next round. now we have two more powerful females stepping up to the plate. on to the fight 😄

Exal Kressh

Descendant of Ludo Kressh and trained by the sith emperor - Vitiate, himself. Exal was a powerful sith - so much so, that the she was to be the first of his "Children". Angry at the very idea, Exal Kressh rebelled against her master and the empire and attempted to sabotage the empire.

Lightsaber form. a very aggressive and strong duelist, Exal's form was based around strength and savage attacks, she completely overwhelmed thanaton in their first bout, and controlled the majority of their second duel. i believe it's safe to say. she was a practitioner of Juyo. and was a expert of the form.

Force Prowess. as a descendant of Ludo Kressh, Exal was extremely powerful in the ways of the force. her force lightning was able to pierce through and kill a servant of Thanaton's and even he had difficulty blocking her lightning with his blade which led to it being destroyed!, he was even sent flying backwards by her lightning in their first bout. her telekinetic prowess was also very powerful as she was able to slaughter various opponents was a mere gesture and gripped thanaton with no effort, not to mention her feat of destroying a stations core with her telekinetic powers and was able to forum a protective bubble as well.

Versus

Lomi Plo

A powerful sith master of the one sith order, Lomi was strong in the force and presented a great threat to Luke Skywalker. she became the "Unseen Queen" of the Gorog Kilik nest. and was the reason for Alema Rar's descent into madness.

Lightsaber form. Lomi Plo was very skilled with Jar'Kai utilizing her white lightsaber and a purple shoto(and later a green normal saber) against Luke Skywalker.

Force Powers. Lumi was very skilled in the force, she was capable of rendering herself invisible to her opponents to the point where look had to use only the force to guide him, she had the unorthodox power of draining energy from droids and even lightsabers, she also displayed use of a force energy web which diced her opponents in half - an abilitiy which she used against a Yuuzhan Vong. she was also capable of mind trick, using it against the likes of Anakin Solo successfully.

Classic case of Old Vs New, NJO vs TOR. who wins? don't forget to vote 😉

I'm leaning towards Exal but I really don't know to be honest.

Exal did kick Teneb around pretty well, but Lomi was not only skilled, but as a hive queen with her abilities enhanced and extra limbs and all was extremely nasty and a danger even to Luke.

Though i refrain from giving my opinion on this, but i'll make an exception. Exal has some pretty powerful showings. while searching for scans, i came across this. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=707012

It shows all of her feats and accolades. judge for yourselves. Exal really is a high tier female sith. kinda surprised she's underrated and ignored. though i won't vote or even take my opinion into account when tallying up the votes, i will say i think Exal could take Lomi with some difficulty.

Though if others wanna debate that feel free to do so.

Likely because she's only in one story, and her feats are primarily kicking around Teneb, who's not particularly stronger.

She's *strong*, no doubt, a master to be sure, but also seems to be the type that had more room to grow IMO.

Lomi, on the flip side, was able to make herself invisible to sight and other non-force senses, which made even Luke have a lot of trouble with her. She used the force to create an energy web that could cut up vong (most force powers, even lightning and tk, are at reduced effectiveness on them). Lomi was able to mind trick Anakin Solo. Finally Lomi was able to energy-drain power cells, meaning there's even a good chance Exal will have to fight disarmed.

Sith being capable of invisibility was rather commonplace in Exal's time though.

In combat, even against the likes of Luke?

I mean, a number can hide themselves in the force to sneak around, An'ya Kuro comes to mind, but I can't really think of anyone who's able to use it throughout a duel.

Force invisibility is not a unique ability to her, but her level of it is exceptionally high.

Angral's apprentice Nefarid could. So could Maris Brood.

Not exactly, Maris (and I assume Nefarid) would use force invisibility to hide from sight, then become visibile when she attacked, basically in a hit and run fashion. Lomi's first and second encourter with Luke was done without her being visible once.

Note the difference.

The first time Luke dueled her (and the second overall encounter. The first she just harassed from hiding), he was forced to retreat even though he had a spotter of a species that could see her to assist.

The second time, she was able to stab Jacen through and distract Mara Jade so she got wounded by fire from one of Lomi's Gorog Kilik, but then Mara managed to shoot her so she retreated (yes, she and some Gorog fought Luke, Mara, and Jacen, and Jacen ended up the one in the worst shape).

Only in the third fight did she convincingly lose.

I think, duel-wise, she's given Grand Master Luke the hardest fight outside of Abeloth.

Lomi is an annoying fighter, but I'm not seeing her as anything special.
