Why are you all saying Vitiate and the Dread Masters failed? He became horrifically dark and tried to kill 97.9% of the Imperial Population in a genocidal attack... Seems pretty broken and dark to me.

Not broken because he didn't fall under their spell. Instead, he's trying to get rid of Empire and Emperor.

So? Lightside Revan never went away. They just made him edward norton in fight club.

Okay, here's what I don't get:

#1 - Why the hell would Meetra keep supplying Revan with her own Force energy? Wouldn't she be able to feel his LS self slip away?

#2 - Why would she direct the Strike team to rescue Revan? Again wouldn't she be able to Sense Revan slipping away and that he is completely different from the Man she helped Rescue?

Stupid Answer: She's completely and utterly devoted to Revan and thus is willing to do anything to save him.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was Bioware's official answer. This storyline has so many plot holes, it's like they didn't even put any effort into it.

Revan only went full on dark personality after Nox and co kicked his ass. There was no LS self, no DS self. What seems to have happened was that when he died part of him gave up and accepted it while another part splintered off and became the guy in the expansion. Definitely seems like a full on split personality created from the trauma of dying, except with the force thrown in.

Meetra probably didn't know how deranged he was getting anyway. I doubt she'd have tried to save him if she knew his plans.

Failed to learn the secrets of the Foundry or turn him into his puppet, Darth Revan, again. But you can't deny that Swtor Revan had been hideously effected by the experience and was basically insane, evil and corrupted.

Hardly. Nothing Foundry Revan did or planned to do would be far fetched for Mando Revan. Malachor was an abomination with effects far worse them death. The Emperor and Dread Masters combined could only make the old Revan more prominent. Revan's willpower is insane.

No they didn't. Good Revan left the war to "focus on the Force." He was officially killed on the Foundry according to himself.v
