I have made 2 Theory.... I've learn in audio Record similar to the one posted recently wich contain Kreia quotes about Revan.
It's the vision of an imperial sith officier. Who believe that's Revan the false emperor and the foundrystill a true sith. He said :
"Do you think Revan after defeating the true sith empire will join peacfully the republic? No He will not Because Revan still a sith. etce etc..."
It was at the foundry time.
And the trust anyone factor made him better served by hiself....
So he don't trust the republic in finishing the true sith empire and believe only on his own Ideology... (Remember Starforge empire time...) Creating a new Jedi civil war !and the sith the primary target using the republic as a shield (That's my theory true collaboration between Republic and true sith empire is umpossible)
Second theory That's not Revan that's Vitiate.. No matter ilusion or possessing Revan corps thank to his mental link with him !!!
And he want to blow up the entiure universe !! War go down True empire is falling.. let re-intensifiate the conflict and rise a new army !!

Revan fought 8 elite force users, the most power of the jedi and the sith of the TOR simultaneously. Yoda could not replicate that feat.
Revan going by current feats is soundly above Yoda/Sidious in combat power
