Shinji goes on a blind date with a certain umbra witch. Somehow detecting the massive age gap between them, the soul of an overprotective Yui Ikari inhabiting Eva 01 awakens, busting out of NERV and towering over her son and Bayonetta. They both let the teenager run away shitless before they begin their brawl.

This is the Unit-01 from Rebuild of Evangelion.

I never played Bayonetta but it always seems like she's crazy strong from the VS threads I've lurked. I hear she has time hax and then some searching brought up this "She's able to summon a powerful entity that can destroy entire large planets with her punches." >.>....

Eva 01 at base might be too strong. In its Third Impact form like in this thread there's no contest.

I think people are underestimating Bayonetta. In the first game she summons the most powerful demon in existence to kill the creator of everything. Or something like that.

The Eva Unit 01 in this thread destroyed nearly all of humanity and reshaped the surface of the planet. Bayonetta on her own isn't beating that. As of the first game anyway.

Well in the original series it pretty much jump started humanity/creation if I'm not mistaken.

In the rebuild it was on its way to do the same thing before it got stopped by PIS/its one weakness/point/whatever.

Don't quote me on it though. The anime is deep and shit and sometimes hard to keep up.
