What does cutting have to do with anything? Cut and blunt force are two different things. Wolverine has cut through Gladiator, Thor, Thanos, and many other durable beings but wouldn't even make them flinch with a punch.
Superman is invulnerable to certain weapons like a regular sword but the proper magical one cuts through him like tissue paper.
