It's in RotS, there's also one point where Anakin's blows bend Kenobi's bones. Note that Kenobi himself can bend durasteel plating like a cheap spoon, it's a pretty good feat.

And who cares? Nothing in Malgus's lightning shows that it can overpower Anakins saber. Lightning never dictates the course of a duel compared to skill, in which case Anakin has superior feats in that regard.

Other than that Malgus has used it to overpower two powerful Jedi and win duels, you mean. facepalm2

It overpowering fodder Jedi isn't proof that it can do the same to a superior fighter like Anakin. And again you're ignoring the fact Anakin is faster, more skilled, and would be pounding Malgus as hard as he did Dooku if they were actually fighting.

Aryn and Zabrak dude (And Adraas now that I think of it) aren't fodder and Anakin's skill as a fighter is pointless to mention with regards to his ability to block lightning.

I disagree on the topic of Anakin and Malgus--Anakin is just as strong or stronger than Malgus is, and he's faster, more skilled, and arguably more powerful as well. Malgus does have the advantage of cybernetically enhanced endurance, but I'm not convinced that will really turn the tables for a majority.

Mace vs HoT is also certainly debatable. Each defeated an overwhelmingly powerful opponent because of specific circumstances. That aside, feat-to-feat there is definitely room for debate.

And of course, Sidious eclipses Vitiate, so if needed he can carry his team to victory. 😎

Satele won't go down so easily. Dooku would be exhausted and perhaps wounded after that confrontation.

I personally place Malgus between ROTS Anakin and ROTJ Vader which means I think its a really close fight but like I said before, Malgus' force offense is very destructive and his tanking capabilities determine his power. I don't see Anakin breaking his defenses while enduring Malgus' TK and lightning.

I agree on HoT vs Windu as you've summarized the situation well. HoT is the most powerful jedi up to his era and Mace's performance against other characters don't help him here. HoT on the other hand has performed excellently against other very powerful beings as well.

Nobody is taking Vitiate down without working for it. This is ROTS Sidious and while he has a major advantage in sabers, I don't see him taking Vitiate down in the force. Vitiate can very well hold his ground against him.

With Satele, its a really close fight and team 2 can manage to win perhaps. I still think TOR has the upper hand even though its really close.

Ridiculous argument. Malgus has never blocked high caliber lightning on-screen, so Plagueis or Bane would thus one shot him as well.

I had originally made it Barsen'thor but changed my mind. I didn't think Grandmaster Satele would be treated as fodder in this matchup, even if she is technically "the weakest."

She's not fodder, but she is the weakest link of the TOR team.

Well I'm not sure I'd say he'd be one-shot. Though Malgus has demonstrated that his ability to block lightning is somewhat sub-par for how powerful he is, when he couldn't fully contain Adraas' lightning into his lightsaber and got his hands burnt despite his significant power advantage. A lightning storm from Bane likely would overpower him and if he followed up with a sustained attack Malgus likely wouldn't last very long. Like when Vitiate overpowered Revan. He wasn't killed immediately, but he was overpowered and had Vitiate continued the attack he would have eventually been overcome completely.

But with Anakin, I'm also not saying he'd be one-shot (although since Aryn was and her feats of blocking lightning are superior to Anakins so his chances are slim). He can maybe partially block the attack. But he wouldn't last very long afterwards, since it would undoubtedly hurt him a lot. Malgus' lightning has blown through 3 lightsaber defenses of powerful opponents, killed multiple Jedi in a single burst and brought the Strike team to its knees. Anakin isn't going to be able to block that kind of power.

Also Plagueis doesn't have high caliber lightning. 😉

Personally I think Anakin is the weakest. But I undervalue Anakin more than others.

Malgus overloaded sabers like how Sidious demonstrated in Dark Empire?
