The comic book store thing may be partially true.
He also said, in an argument we had on Facebook, that he worked in a music store or something, to try and win an argument about whether or not the Beatles counted as good "rock music" or something...don't remember the details but it was regarding The Rolling Stones listing the Beatles as one of the best rock bands of all time: he strongly disagreed with that. haermm

No, he didn't work with Iyare. That was someone who worked/owned a CB store that he teamed up with to discuss comics. If I recall correctly, he never was employed there.
