Yup, these are outdated laws. My great grandmother was married at 14 or 15, iirc. She got married when those laws probably didn't exist or were freshly made. She lived in South Carolina, at the time.

Honestly I do think it's hypocritical that PVS is in here pretending he's really concerned with what AC did, when a week ago when I posted about it on my personal tumblr, he told me I was doing so for "e-fame" and that I was "playing the victim" for attention, implied that I would compare it to rape, said I was "making it all about me".. etc..
I thought that if I posted about it that other people would be more likely to post their experience with him. I really regret it now.
Also the people bringing up how PVS interacted with me on GS are either attempting to troll PVS or they want to draw attention away from their own behaviour. don't pretend you care
This thread isn't achieving anything (we've had maybe 10 useful posts), the rest has been pointless arguing and derailing. Anything useful anyone has to say should go straight to the rap battle forum imo.
nothing new on in the other forum for quite some time. they're talking about putting together a kickstarter so that one of their members can quit their job and make a graphic novel about AC's adventures. i hope that if it's done, it'll be based on his hero-fantasies and not his actual methods and actions.
either way seems like it may have run it's course in terms of gathering/seeking testimonials.
