Broly vs Dabura

Since it's widely believed that Broly and Dabura are both somewhere in the range of Perfect Cell's power, I figured we can see who is greater.

Fight takes place on Namek

Fight 1: Dabura vs Movie 8 Broly

Fight 2: Dabura vs Second Coming Broly

If the Gohan that fought Dabura was weaker than when he fought Cell, then Dabura would be somewhat weaker than Broly. There's always spitting, but moneys on Broly.

Broly fought the same Gohan.

He had an obvious upper hand, that I recall.

If you believe that Gohan was a Super Saiyan 2 during his fight with Dabura and Broly during the second movie, Dabura would win 1 and lose in 2

Dabura is nowhere near Cell level. Gohan never went SSJ2 as an adult except when fighting Kibito, and Fat Buu.

Broly takes this easily. He could defend against Dabura's spit with a barrier, and if he got hit by it, he could chop off whatever limb it took and regrow it with his LSSJ regeneration. Not to mention that Broly WAS Cell level, and even stronger in the second coming when he tanked multiple attacks from a SSJ2 like they were feathers landing on his face.

Yes he did, his hair is clearly SSJ2, not 1.

After reviewing on more evidence I'm changing my stance to Akira Toriyama ****ed this one up and I don't really know now.

If Gohan weren't a SSJ2 against Dabura, he wouldn't have stood a chance in hell against him. Why? Because Goku, who can very accurately sense ki, outright stated that Dabura~PCell:

It was also confirmed multiple times that Cell-era Gohan>>Buu-era Gohan:

This is important because during the Cell Games, Cell(who was holding back the entire time, mind you) was still far more powerful than SSJ Gohan--in fact, Gohan only gained the upper-hand when he went SSJ2. Point: Buu-era Gohan, who, again, was much weaker than Cell-era Gohan, absolutely would not have been able to stalemate a Cell-level foe as a standard SSJ. I can say this with confidence because not even Cell-era Gohan was able to stalemate a Cell-level foe as a standard SSJ. Therefore Gohan must have been a SSJ2 when he fought Dabura. 🙂

I'd go with Broly. I don't think there is a vast difference between them, mind you, but I do think Broly is more powerful.

Broly isn't smart enough to dodge the spit.

He does use his barrier wisely tho.
