YES! When Phantom Stranger, Pandora, and Swamp Thing were on the same team, it was one of the most uber teams in history. And I didn't even mention Constantine and Zauriel (Who again wiped Stranger from existence).
Oh, and Nightmare Nurse, who was friggen uber, too.
As who they fought? Blight in Forever Evil. He was the collection of all the evil in the world.

I give the edge to Doom on prep in this, as he can use science and the science based characters on the team to better advantage. But thats just quibbling.
You're right in that either can win with Doom there.

Doom's better at tech, sure, but not magic. Constantine was able to create a field powerful enough to keep out God himself. Among other uber things like hurting Blight, etc... Check out JLD, it's great.
