Air transport wouldnt have advanced as quickly as it did without WWII though.
Ultimately arguments like this (picking a man if the century) are circular. There is no one right answer that'll satisfy everyone.
However, Hitler would definitely not be a wrong answer.

Most of the people knows Michael Jackson. But it's difficult to be known by everyone.
