I think that medical professionals returning from ebola-effected regions should be expected to adhere to reasonable standards of hygiene and should be required to check in with medical professionals regularly after coming back to America until such time as the window of infection has passed, but a full quarantine is too much.

It's under control. So far 2 or 3 people treated for ebola in America have made full recoveries.
