Untapped Vibranium (story) potential

If two vibranium meteors on earth have been so instrumental in the MU, why has no one tried to figure out the trajectories they were on when they hit the Savage Land and Wakanda and launched an expedition to find more?

Has vibranium been found anywhere else in space?

Was there a planet of the material?

If there was, was there life on it, and what would someone from a planet like that be like, power wise?

Not sure if any of these questions have ever been addressed in recent times.

I might just not be remembering correctly, but was it ever said that vibranium came from meteors, rather than being found on Earth naturally in those two places?
