Rage of Bahamut: Genesis (Anime)

Mistarcia is a magical world where humans, gods, and demons mingle together. In the past, the black-and-silver winged Bahamut has threatened to destroy the land, but humans, gods, and demons overcame their differences to fight together and seal its power. The key to that seal was split in two, one half given to the gods and the other to demons, so that they would never be united and Bahamut never released. Now, two thousand years later, the world is in an era of peace—until the day a human woman steals the gods' half of the key.

There are only two episodes out right now but it's been pretty fun so far. Also has excellent production value for an anime series.

This looks good. How often are the episodes released and translated?

New episodes should be out every Monday afternoon-ish since you live in the States.

This show has been surprisingly good. And the art style and music is top notch.

This looks cool, may check it out.

Episode 4 is the best one yet.

Best girl.

Nice find! Thanks! I look forward to this.

Gives me the feel of excitement I used to get when I torrented fansubs of Naruto almost ten ****ing years ago! haha!

The animation and art look gorgeous. Might have to check this out.

Just watched the first episode. Seems great so far. My only concern is that the protagonist might be pretty unlikable. He hasn't reached that point yet, but he has a lot of the characteristics of an unlikable protagonist.

What don't you like about him? Also the first 3 episodes are meh compared to the next ones

There's nothing I dislike so far, just a few warning flags. He's a cocky trickster anti-hero who makes life harder for his more noble foil. Sort of like the old animated Sinbad movie, but it has yet to reach that level. I don't hate him so far, I am just saying he makes me cautious.

I see. Well then let's just say you're not going to like him at all by the second episode, lol

Friend of mine has been trying to get me to watch this for a while. Will do so now because it looks pretty dope.

Love this anime season.

Just watched episode 4 and I'm really liking Rita and Kaisar's dynamic more than anything else. Episode 7 tomorrow, right?

Yes, last week was the recap episode (6.5) so there are probably going to be 12 episodes in total. And yeah Rita's pretty great

Finished the first three episodes.

So far Favaro hasn't reached the point I feared he did. Sure he's kind of a scumbag, but the story treats him as such and to be honest his actions against Amira are somewhat understandable. She's a demon, this setting seems to advocate wholesale slaughter of demons, and she did curse him. So yeah, I can totally understand where he is coming from.

Kaisar is a cool-ass dude though. He's like the terminator with a pompadour. Bro never ****ing gives up.

Episode 7 was great. Though Amira should have actually done something rather than run around like a little kid.

Just finished episode six.

Is there any reason at all to watch the recap episode?
