Shootings in Ottawa

Ottawa appears to be under fire.

Shooters at multiple locations across the city.

Was this attack announced before it happened? I thought I read it somewhere yesterday.

Any victims? Or hopefully they got the gunmen?

Reports say 1 gunman was shot.
1 or 2 other gunmen are on the loose.

People in the building are alive and well, hiding.

Even though the culprit has not yet been found, I highly suspect these were carried out by Islamic terrorist groups.

I read a few things.

1. There is no evidence that it was Islamic in origin and that is baseless speculation, at this point.

2. Only 1 person died from this attack, so far.

3. One of the attackers was killed.

Have things changed since last night? Meaning, do we now have evidence that this was an Islamic-ly motivated terror attack?

The Ottawa attack heightened fears that Canada, a strong ally of the United States in its campaign against the Islamic State militant group convulsing the Middle East, had been targeted in a reprisal, either as part of an organized plot or a lone-wolf assault by a radicalized Canadian.

Law enforcement authorities in Washington said their Canadian counterparts had identified the assailant as Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, who had changed his name from Michael Joseph Hall, and said he had been a convert to Islam.

Yes. The man was a 32 year old Canadian born Quebecois, who recently converted to Islam. however, authorities in Canada believe that more mischief from other terrorist cells may start more trouble in the near future. Canada's aid in combating terror has apparently been noted by the IS. This is what I saw on CNN.
