I didn't read the latest WW yet, but uncuffed WW isn't a new thing.
Orion is totally featless under azz. everyone has beaten his ass from Hera to a random minotaur oneshotting him. Azz's writing isn't for forums, Fb at one time was getting carved up by kitchen knives and getting bloodied by lions. superman has consistently looked more powerful than her despite her getting a monster push by DC.

This doesn't, however, mean that defeating him means nothing, or that he's just a nameless character.
We can't just worship Superman and everything that happens in his comics, and ignore everything else.

Orion stalemated Superman though and actually had the advantage at one point. First Born outright embarrassed Orion, the same person who gave Superman a hell of a fight (and looked like he was winning). We can't ignore that.
Then average Diana had a more powerful Doomsday on the ground coughing up mucus and she felt as if she could kill him as well (and probably could've since she nearly dropped him with a single attack). Uncuffed is a different beast. She wins this and First Born would wreck Doomsday. Doomsday got dropped by a dose of heat vision from Superman, Apollo threw a sun at First Born and he walked through it.

It's not about being fair. Azz hasn't written superman in ww and we have no idea how strong his Orion is compared to superman.
While Pak lobdell have written both we and superman and its made very clear that superman was vastly more powerful than her.
