KMC, your mission is to cite the worst retcons in the medium.

1. The Death of Aunt May- This was one of the best and most poignant moments in the medium. Aunt May, on her deathbed reveals to Peter that she always knew he was Spider-Man. The revelation and May's death should've propelled the character tp new heights of storytelling.

2. Xorn IS...- Morrison is a master and when he had Xorn remove the mask to reveal he was Magneto. Perfection.

Brand New Day no contest. And while Pete being single has its moments there was literally a thousand better ways to change his marital status and secret id revelation than what Quesada sh@t out.

Yeah, BND was sh*t. I can't defend it as an arc, even if it did open some things up in the narrative long-term. Nearly any other route to the same goal would have worked better.

Even just a divorce would have been a far more respectable story choice
