Reed is better than Bats in some ways but Bruce is a far better tactician, strategist, and detective. Not to mention the fact that he's infintely cooler than Reed.

Better detective? I'm not so sure.

A great part of Batman's job is made possible because he invented the batcomputer, which is the world most advanced forensic/detective computer. That computer solves most of it.

Reed's a phuckton smarter.

Also, like was revealed in Civil War, Reed can basically math his way to clairvoyance. He already calculated his way to every possible outcome and they chose the one they did because it had the least damaging result/fallout. Like the Thinker said, Reed was splitting the atom when the rest of the geniuses were trying to invent the wheel.

That would be his downfall.

I can see him confidently predicting what the Joker would do...and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Joker turning round and infecting him with joker venom (which Batman has built an immunity to).

Also not dismissing it out of hand; its perfectly sound.

Batman has an unquantifiable quality to him and his detective work/intuition that goes beyond numbers. An X Factor if you will.
And thats something that even the Thinker could never plan for for.

Reed would take the Bat computer and make it into its own entity. Gotham would be a save haven within days.

But, Reed Richards is useless. There's a meme and everything.
