Doctor Strange

But anyways, I've now seen Doctor Strange. IMO it's one of the better solo Marvel films.

So you missed the dialogue where Odin saluted him as an adversary or the fact he thought he killed him. He oneshotted the surfer and considering the circumstances there's no reason for him to hold back with his son in chains showing up in his realm. None.

Yeah I saw where Odin saluted him and also where he was surprised that he was still breathing when he underestimated him, but what does any of that have to do with Thanos getting the shit kicked out of him?

Yeah I'm curious as well, why does respect for an opponents abilities mean anything when it comes to who is more powerful?

Why is this even a discussion? Odin won the fight. Actions speak louder than words.

Thanos didn't get the shit kicked out of him and he had Odins highest respect. Odin failed to bring him down despite the circumstances.

It's all relevant when you're desperately trolling.

Odin's statements, the comic, and the bio, support my position not yours, troll.

Right, but the people are still crybabies though. People are acted like he was just named the nicest human being to ever live.

How some can cry about it while at the same time trying to dismiss it with "Hitler was on it" is beyond me. If Hitler was on it that clearly means being chosen doesn't actually mean they are saying anything good about the character of the person chosen, so what the hell are they complaining over?

Just the way people react to some of the stuff involving Trump is like watching someone repeatedly trying to put out a fire by dousing it with alcohol, and then constantly being perplexed when it just exacerbates the situation.

Well, I think people are upset because whether you agree or not, a lot of people see him as a fascist, and the reason Hitler keeps getting brought up is because most people thought that we were beyond this.

You're right though by your other post. This isn't the right thread to talk politics.

Doctor Strange was amazing. I actually have it in my Top 5, just below Winter Solider and just above Civil War. It may be my favorite CBM of the year. I can't decide whether it's this or Deadpool.

That's fair enough yeah.

Yeah, is Strange set to appear in any of the Avengers films?

Of course he is.

Interesting, I see he is in the next Thor movie. Probably not a very big part I'm guessing.

Come on Quan. I like Thanos as much as the next guy, but lets be realistic and honest here.

Thanos is shaky and battered to hell and back while Odin was just getting revved up. If the fight were to continue, Thanos was in for a world of hurt. Anybody that read the story should be able to see that.

Plus if Odin was going all out and trying to destroy him he wouldn't have stopped to ask him if he will yield.

Singed. Oh come on now is clothes have looked worse against the Fallen One. Odin was attacking him far more and he had to run through a gungir blast. He told him, no. Thanos wasn't in a world of hurt because Thanos wouldn't have stuck around if he believed he would be killed. If you know Thanos you know this to be true. Come on, man.

Correction he thought he already had but due to his respect and shock he lived gave him the chance to yield. Thanos denied it. Use your brain.

Nobodies believing this song and dance. You dont even believe it although its admiral that you keep sticking up for your favorite character.

Seriously, does anybody in their right mind think that Thanos was going to rebound and suddenly win that fight? Um,,,,,,,nope.

^ Like you said, he knows it himself. He's just being a butthurt fanboy.

Yes..he thought Thanos had lost, because he figured he could take him down by using only a small percentage of his power.

He couldn't do so and acknowledged that.

You have refused to answer me when I ask you if you think their fight showed them equal. You dance around it by saying there was no winner, but that only happened because they stopped fighting.

^ Dancing around the facts is what Quanchi does best.

I do believe it all.

Thanos wasn't really hurt or near death. He wouldn't risk his life to save Thor so most people are exaggerating to sell their points. Thanos was not defeated. Period.
