I don't think it's shitty writing at all, it's consistent with his character as we've seen him in the GotG movies. He's a hothead who will react without thinking, as he did here. Makes perfect sense. He's still at fault, obviously. But nothing he did was out of character.

Actually, everything went according to plan... Star-Lord was apparently supposed to act in this way, otherwise Strange would've interfered.

This was their only chance, it was stated in the movie. Twice.

Btw if you wanna argue stupid writing Thanos could have just turned everybody into bubbles, cubes or serpentine on Titan just like he did to Drax and Mantis on Knowhere.

Maybe he cant turn Asgardians like that. Or magicians. Or ladies with Hex powers. Or on Nanobots.

I read imdb user reviews and most of them say this movie is boring with no plot. I read kmc reviews and most of you said aiw is the best comic book movie

I trust kmc opinions a lot more than other sites 👆

It's like a season finale... you watched most of the earlier films, so you won't feel lost like some dumb reviewers that didn't know it was a giant comic book event movie.
