Utterly agreed it has flaws including should have shown in the llgical order kid, teenager and adult Clark not out of order but doesn't change it's a great movie.
And The person that said Man of Steel does Superman no justice is laughable because the movie does him justice including great special effects, great action scenes, saves persons, etc.

MoS had its moments and overall not a terrible SH film.
But BvS, crapfest. JL, another crapfest. The one cool batman warehouse scene, Wonder Woman looking amazing and whatnot cannot save those films.
I do think that if we didn't have comic films like IM, CA:TWS, GoTG, Logan etc, the upper crust of the films to compare the DCCU too, they'd hold up better. But compare Iron Man to MoS, BvS, JL or SS in terms of acting, story, villains etc; those look like crap. Wonder Woman is the one that stands apart, it's a overall decent film if not top tier.

I like MOS and love Watchmen.
So yes I do think Snyder can be a great visual director, and can do decent superhero movies, with his own spin on it of course, which can work.
That said, BvS, JL and architecting the entire Phase I of DCEU was just way above his pay grade.
