Yeah I agree. If Thanos was using the stones he whole time he fought, then Thanos without the stones would certainly not worthy of the hype he was given in GOTG1 -most powerful being in the Galaxy.

Doesn't look like it will beat Force awakens Domestically. WW still possible.

Going to see it again next weekend. What a movie!

Wonder if part 2 can be any more awesome cause this set the bar way too high but I really hope...

Kinda doubt it can.

IW's end was almost as good as the end of Silver Surfer's cartoon from 90s... and you cannot top that.

It can still do 2 billion WW depending on how big China goes.

The sequel will have a tough fight against Lion King to be the top film next year.

IMO, Infinity War will top or be close to $2 billion worldwide when Deadpool comes out

China is predicted to do over $400 million. The MCU is huge in China.

is it supposed to top force awakens worldwide?

besides infinity war is just about half way there to force awakens so no reason for people not to think it might topple force awakens, besides whether it does or doesn't wtf does it matter anyway

I foresee Infinity War topping the Force Awakens without much difficulty.

I very much want to see Titanic and Avatar topped, but I don't know.

Although the spin off films have hope.

Whatever Infinity War ends up making, I'm guessing the follow up - just like Return of the King and Deathly Hallows 2 - will make 20-30% more.
