Jedi Master Thon vs. Fay

Force, sabers, all out

Maybe Thon.

Yeah, Thon.

Fay, I mean if we are going to use her then we must accept the feats and hype as they are.

Using both she is above Thon, by a slight/minor advantage however.

Thon wins this.

Thon's got plenty hype too. He was definitely one of the strongest masters of his time, and one CW Jedi listed in and Nomi in the same breath as Yoda as real greats.

Fay however is stated to be basically second only to Yoda himself and 'likely would have lived forever'.

She was nearly half of Yoda's age so that has to bring immense experience factor into this combat.

So? Thon was mentioned alongside Yoda in a 'best of all time' list, so he's in the same hype league.

Thon IMO

It should be considered, though, that TOTJ was the only pre-OT material out there at this point. So basically, Nomi and Thon were two of the only established Jedi in the mythos.

Fay rips out Thon's thoughts FTW.

Thon was a telepath.

Cool. So are pretty much all Jedi.

Not really. Being able to comminicate thoughts, read minds etc was rare compared to standard mind tricks.

Mind tricks are still telepathy.

But thats not what I meant.

Some are better at in than others, period lol.

You don't say.

Exactly, so why are you even arguing? Neph was saying Thon may be able to resist having his thoughts pulled because of his telepathic skills. Even if all Jedi have some sort of telepathic ability, you know what he meant-what's the point of arguing this?

Sure, but even later material treats 'em as pretty big deals. They were the two biggest Jedi of a time that had some quite significant Jedi.

Heck, the KotoR comic talked a fair bit of how badass Arca Jeth was, and Thon seemed to be stronger than him.
