It is a possibility, Sel-Makor seems to psychologically influence its opponents.

Except that the possessed doesn't necessarily inherit the full power of the possessor--Such was the case with Tavion Aximis and Marka Ragnos.

Hmm. Depends upon the nature of possession as well.

When Talzin possessed Dooku and fought Sidious right afterwards, Sidious commented that she lacked skills of Dooku. This development further convinced me that possessed hosts are like empty vessels.

The reason why Vitiate is an exception is because he enhances his hosts via alchemically before possessing them.

He does?

Emperor have the capability to possess hosts without enhancing them though.

If it was just some Voss mystic possessed by Sel Makor, the latter wouldn't have specifically noted how powerful this host was.

This seems to give the impression that Sel-Makor may have momentarily sensed the power of Emperor during his attempt to fully possess the host in question and made this remark while doing so. However, I don't think that Sel-Makor actually wielded Emperor's power after the possession, it seems illogical for possession dynamic even in Star Wars.

@NewGuy

Do you honestly believe Wrath II could defeat an Emperor's Voice?

The wrath beat a dark council member with ease so why not...

He didn't beat any Dark Council members with ease. And the Emperor's Voice is well above any Dark Council members.

I'm not saying he fought Vitiate, but it still stands that Sel Makor wielded Vitiate's tremendous power, and the Wrath still prevailed.

If he possessed the Voice then he has the power of the Voice, not the power that Vitiates spirit would feed it

Humhum.. So... Holly shit. I do not paid attention to that..
That's mean the empeor wrath ..... glups.... Cannnot imagine...

Except Vitiate's power and spirit are inside the Voice now. Not the Voice's. That being said, Vitiate was clearly combating Sel-Makor internally.

👆

Wrath has no chance against the power of the Voice + Makor
