National Chip and Dip Day
Date When Celebrated : Always March 23rd

Important Note: National Potato Chip Day is on March 14th. For today's celebration, the "chip" is more generic. It could be corn chips, or tortilla chips. And, the dip is any kind that goes well with the chip of choice.
Today is best celebrated in the evening with a bag of chips and your favorite dip.
Oh, this could be fun...🙂
Something on a Stick Day
Date When Celebrated : Always March 28th
Something on a Stick Day celebrates things on a stick. Isn't this just a neat day? We thought you'd agree.
So what comes on a stick? Practically anything. The first thing that comes to mind is popsicles and fudgecicles. Hotdogs are poplar on a stick at campfires. There's also corndogs, and shrimp and many chinese treats. Cocktail wieners and cheese are picked and eaten on a stick(a toothpick).
You can also get just about anything on a stick when receiving food samples at a store or festival.
Celebrate this fun day by serving food for meals and snacks on a stick. The kids will love it. So will you!
BTW: We are glad that today is Something on a Stick Day and not "Something on a Shingle Day!
Tomorrow. Ah yes, i will strike at my wretched neighbors, the Halloways...!
When : April 1st
Traditionally, April Fool's Day is an opportunity for playing jokes or tricks on one another. The stranger and the more absurd the better. The challenge is to carry out a trick that is believable, if only for a little while. Tricks are most successful if played earlier in the day before a person is wise to what is going on. Younger children are also more gullible.
Any tricks or jokes must be harmless and in good taste for the unsuspecting "victim". And, we suggest you think twice before pulling one on the boss, even if he or she is know to be of good humor.
Important: Jokes and gags must be harmless and fun. They must not be dangerous or hurt anyone's feelings. Give your jokes and gags some thought before carrying them out. Then, have fun!
Happy April Fool's Day
This is a day thats sorely needed in today's world!

World Penguin Day tomorrow!
World Penguin Day: Always April 25th
About Penguin Awareness Day, and World Penguin Day:
Penguin Awareness Day, and World Penguin Day are great opportunities to learn about and appreciate one of the few natives of Antarctica. On these days, spend a little time learning about them.... a pictorial book or internet site is fun. You can also watch a documentary of these cute and popular, grounded birds.
These days are also a time to wear black and white---penguin colors. However, wearing a tuxedo in their honor is optional. It is also popular today to tell a penguin joke or two.
Origin of Penguin Days:
World Penguin Day coincides with the annual northward migration of penguins. This happens each year on or around April 25th. Penguins do not fly. Rather, they walk, or waddle their way to and from.
Our research did not uncover any information about the origin of Penguin Awareness Day. And, we found no consensus on the date. Rather, we found several conflicting dates in January. If anyone can provide information about this day, please contact us.
Did you know? Penguins are found in Antarctica, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Peru, the Falkland Islands, and the Galapagos Islands. Elsewhere, they are only found in zoos.
Woo HOO!!!
Star Wars Day
Date When Celebrated: Always on May 4th
It's all because of a play on words!
Star Wars Day is May the Fourth, because of a famous quote from the hugely popular science fiction series blockbuster is "May the Force (Fourth) be with you"
Great ways to Celebrate Star Wars Day:
Watch any of the great Star Wars movies
Better still, have a Star Wars marathon, and watch two or three (or 4) of them.
Get out your laser sword and practice for the next invasion from the Evil Empire.
Send a Star Wars day Ecard- of course they have them!
Have a Star Wars costume party.
Learn some Star Wars Trivia, there's no shortage.
Some call this Day "Luke Skywalker Day".
Origin of Star Wars Day:
While we are so glad that this day exists, its creation was a fluke. In 2005, a German News Tv channel N24 interview erroneously translated this famous Star Wars quote. In German, "May the force be with you", was incorrectly interpreted as "We are with you on May 4th". We do believe, that if this error had not occurred, someone, somewhere would have created this day.
