people don't like it cause socialism is a bad word to them so that won't happen.

Indeed. That's a bit silly, too. I'm surrounded by those types of people.

Okay! Time to cancel you Fire and Police services!

And that Social Security check you've been looking forward to? CANCELLED!

That healthcare for when you're older? Cancelled! 😄

Well, guys and gals, I just put the US Budget back into the black. I didn't just balance it, we now have a surplus. 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄

You can think that liberal retards like Bardock42 for this amazing solution I've come up with! (this is sarcasm, you retards...)

How about we fix our tax system, cut our military budget in half, end most of our foreign occupations and end all of our military conflicts, expand our medicare program to cover all Americans, pay our teachers more, and invest more tax dollars into education and science. 🙂

i live in the south so i am really surrounded by backwoods retards. this lady in my class was bitching about taxes being too high in one breath and then bitching about the prospect of the government tightening up on pell grants in the next breath. ***** can't decide which political slant to put on her misery.

Looool

And when the republicans don't do shit over the new few years the dems will get voted back into power. This happens all the time, it's a cycle.

Looked it up, between 1855-2013 control has totaled:

Senate
Dem - 78 years
Red - 82 Years

House
Dem - 86 years
Rep - 72 years

shit is really eternally ****ed. i honestly wouldn't mind a dictatorship that much if their heart was in the right place.

Lol, at least we will have new entertainment

Interesting article on BBC:

http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-echochambers-29925843

Basically, despite the monumental defeat of the Democratic Party, the popularity of the Democratic Party's platform(s) is at an all time high.

The lesson to take from this was that Americans were voting out of frustration, not because they like the Republicans better or agree with their policies (particularly not their social policies)

And this article suggests that unless the Republicans dazzle America with an amazing run of competence and maturity, it's highly unlikely they'll keep their current position come 2016.

Wasn't that the same thing the liberals tried to do with "Change"

No, they will just blame Obama, and win the next presidency. Then, they will be kicked out of congress. Hooray for divided government!

I think the conservatives will be able to blame Obama for the next 12-16 years at least. And with good reason too. 8 years to fck us, 16 years to unfck us.

that's what the dems thought about bush son.

All of those are the subjective opinion of columnists. I could easily find liberal articles with the exact same level of fact and objectivity.

I agree. There is enough shit to go around. Both parties are full of it.
