Darth Malgus/Darth Maul SOD vs. Count Dooku/Asajj Ventress

Force, sabers, All Out

*Battle takes place in the Tomb of Freedon Nadd

*Maul is equipped with darksaber/optional saber staff

*Malgus has optional Jar Kai sabers

Team 1. Ventress may be more skilled than Malgus but she'll find a lot of problems with his strength and Lightning. Maul is just better than Ventress. Dooku would beat either on the other team, but given their physical strength, durability, approaching Force power and in Maul's case, approaching skill, Dooku won't be taking either out before Ventress is taken out. For a majority, anyway. The main problem really is that team 2 are poor at fending off power duelists, and Ventress lacks a defence to Lightning. Same could be said for Maul, but then his endurance would carry him through.

Team 1, Ventress is the weak link.

She isn't really a weak link per say, just the weakest here who just happens to find problems with strong duelists/lightning.

Since when does she have problems with lightning since becoming Dooku's apprentice?

Not really. In my mind you actually need to be weak to be considered a weak link. She could give Maul a solid fight whenever they fight each other, and if Malgus doesn't abuse his power she may even beat him in a duel.
